How Does MyPath Work?

MyPath is Bright's Assignment + Practice Hub. All learner experiences + coach feedback are served up here to make managing learning activities easy and personalized.

There are 4 Key elements to understand about MyPath. Let's go through each in briefly: 

1) Assignment Paths

MyPath

  • This is the main tab visible to all learners at all times. 
  • The sequence never changes regardless of which item a learner has started/worked on. Your Assignment Path design is what determines this sequence. 
  • The Percentage Complete is based on the total number of Moments + Conversation Simulations (not the number of simulation cards). This is the same number used in the Team Progress Report + Outstanding Report. 
  • If a learner has no iterative practice to complete, no 3/4 star human coach feedback, and/or no certifications completed, those tabs will be hidden. 
  • New in 2024! Explore Assignment Paths that have been added by a Learner or an Admin (in the user section of the admin console) will show up below the Learner's core path. These will display progress, any badges attached, and the option to start/resume the content.

2) Feedback + Practice

  • This tab appears once a learner has something to practice/repeat. 
  • Items will appear here if the learner did not meet the performance threshold (e.g. 3 stars for Moments; duration or system errors for System Moments; Multiple Choice passing percentage; any Conversation Simulation thresholds). 
  • Items will disappear from this tab once the learner meets the performance standards OR - in the case of human-rated moments - after they resubmit. 

3) Kudos

  • This tab shows passed moments that have some type of human coaching. 
  • The story behind this tab is that we used to hide moments once they were passed, but received feedback from learners that they valued seeing human feedback - especially video feedback. 
  • As a result this tab is for reference only. Learners only need to revisit moments on this time if desired. 
  • Items will disappear from this page after 90 days.

4) Certifications

  • This tab will only appear if your Bright instance has purchased/activated the Live Certification feature. 
  • Once activated, Learners will only see Certification tab entries if they have participated in a live certification/coaching session. 
  • Cards may initially appear 'empty' if the Coach/Rater has not added feedback. 
  • Items do not disappear from this tab as these are permanent entries on the learner record. 

5) Badges

  • This tab will only appear if you have assignment paths that earn badges. Here you can see badges in progress as well as badges that have been earned.
  • Badges are tied to assignment paths in the admin console. If a badge has been attached to an assignment path, completing the content in the path will earn the badge!
