Once a learner adds an Explore Path, they'll see new features light up on their MyPath page.
Adding secondary learning paths creates the need to communicate about progress and requirements a little differently. That's why we've added a separate % tracker in MyPath and Bright team reports for Explore Paths.
Once a learner adds an Explore Path, they'll see a new % tracker on MyPath as noted in the image below.
This % tracks the OVERALL progress toward the experiences added in their Explore Paths. Here are a few facts to keep in mind when looking at these % numbers:
- The % is for the overall progress in Explore, not just a single path. For example, if a learner has 3 Explore Paths, the % will show the total for their progress on all 3 paths.
- We remove duplicate moments and conversation simulations from the count. For example, if a learner has 10 moments in their Explore Path, but 2 are shared with their Core Path, when they complete those moments they will be counted under BOTH path % totals.
- Learners DON'T lose records if they remove an Explore Path. This is important because if a learner clicks 'Remove' for an Explore Path, they may initially be concerned that their progress has been lost. Never fear! Learners won't lose a badge once they've earned it (even if the Explore Path is removed). And if they've completed moments or simulation previously, that progress will be saved and able to be resurfaced by adding the Explore Path again.
