The Bright Coaching Mindset
When using Bright, trainers, facilitators and managers all become performance coaches. They have the ability to review a learner's performance and provide specific, tailored feedback to learners as they progress through their learning journey. The reports available to coaches let them see who needs 1-on-1 attention to stay on track and who is outperforming expectations. The Coach Inbox allows Coaches to share feedback on performance via comment, video or audio feedback, giving learners the sense that their performance matters and they have individualized support.
Coach Inbox
When coaches click the Alert bell next to their name in the upper right, it will take them to their coach inbox, where they can search and filter learn submissions, and provide feedback and star ratings.
When using the Coach inbox, coaches have 4 options to provide tailored feedback and coaching in addition to providing a star rating:
- Typed comments
- Audio comments
- Video comments
- Upload a document (this could include a help guide, an image of an activity completed outside Bright, or other supporting documents for the learner)
Certification
Coaches will see a 'Coach' option the header link section. If you click this you will have the option to launch a live certification session, or view learner reports. See this article for more details on how Certifications work on Bright.
